Job description

Join Hiring Hub and help create beautiful outdoor spaces for our community. This is an on-site position working with the Parks & Rec division of the City of Albuquerque, where you will work outside with a supportive team to keep landscapes healthy and attractive. Our team values hard work, reliability, and helping each other. You'll start each morning with clear instructions and use modern equipment to get the job done. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. City looks at our temporary employees for full-time employment throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns, trim bushes, and plant flowers or shrubs

• Pick up and dispose of yard waste

• Operate landscaping equipment safely

• Follow daily schedules and complete tasks with your team

• Check finished work for quality and neatness

• Report problems or safety issues to the supervisor

Requirements

• Must have a vehicle

• Available Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outside in various weather conditions

• Team player with a positive attitude

• Willingness to learn new skills and follow safety rules

• Must have a valid NM driver's license

• Must possess a clean background record
